An audiobook app for any PDF or EPUB you have
Most audiobook apps sell you the book. Echory doesn’t have a bookstore — it turns a digital book you have into an audiobook, with real chapters and a voice you choose. One you bought years ago, or one you downloaded five minutes ago.

Where we’re actually different
Your choice, not a catalogue
No licensing, no regional gaps, no “not available in your country”. Get the book wherever you like — if you have it as a PDF or EPUB, you can listen to it.
The narrator isn’t fixed
A commercial audiobook is welded to one voice for twelve hours. If you don’t get on with it, the book is spoiled. Change it whenever you like, mid-book if you want.
Real chapters, not one long file
The hard part isn’t reading text aloud — your phone already does that. It’s knowing where a chapter ends, so you can skip, jump back and pick up where you left off.
A converter that hands you one nine-hour file has given you a recording, not a book. Echory works out the chapter boundaries and gives you a list you can move around in, with your position remembered per chapter and carried across devices.
Who this is not for
If you want to discover new titles, browse editorial picks, or listen to a celebrity-narrated production, buy the audiobook. That is a genuinely different product and we’re not pretending otherwise.
This is for the books you have as files and haven’t got through.
